Rabbi James Byers is a teacher of the Scriptures and the ancient foundation of the Christian belief. He has been a minister most of his life, starting as a young teen preaching the Word of The Most High. He held the position as an Associate Minister of The Redeemed Outreach Ministries for five years before coming into the Hebrew lifestyle. He began his search through the Original Covenant and the Hebrew Language in June 2001 studying under Messianic Rabbi David Levi in Mocksville, NC, Messianic Rabbi Jeffrey Weiss author of \u2018The Truth of Reformation\u201d and Messianic Rabbi Ralph Messer of Simchat Torah Beit Midrash in Denver Colorado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is a founder of Melo HaGoyim Learning Center of Winston Salem, NC. He is married to his wife of forty-three years Rabbis Aviyah Byers and they have three beautiful children, one Grandson and Granddaughter of whom he adores and loves dearly. He is well versed in the understanding of the Tanak and Renewed Covenant and loves to teach and present Yahweh\u2019s Word to diverse groups of people. He teaches heavily on the African Diaspora, helping people to understand the historical relevance of Israel as it combines the ancient slave experience of Egypt to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. His focus is on prophecy and the regathering of the house of Israel; bringing clarity to the Scriptural time-line as written in the Torah, Prophets and Renewed Covenant. He is a co-author of The Hebrew Messianic Haggadah<\/a><\/em> <\/a>for Passover, which assists assemblies in preparing for the Passover and guides the congregational leader through the Passover Seder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Most\nimportantly, he is set apart to the One, True and living God of the Universe\nand strives to walk righteously before Him and the world daily.
