How many times have you heard that Yahshuah is Salvation? If you were raised in the Church as I was; I remember being told over and over again that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. That He has taken away my sins so that I can reign in heaven when I am finished with this life on earth. I really didn’t get it until I looked at the story of the exodus as it compares to our Wonderful Messiah coming and redeeming those called out to be His.

In Exodus we see a group of people those of Hebrew origin and those of gentile origin escaping a land that seemed doomed and destroyed. They left following a man by the name of Moses who had heard from One Who called Himself The God of the Hebrews, I AM that I AM or All that I will ever be; that’s What I AM. They left on foot the land that they had known as home for approximately 215 years and many others all their generations. I can imagine that they were afraid and unsure about this Moses person, but as afraid as they were to leave they were more afraid to stay as YAH had completely devastated their home. The Father took them out on foot to a place in the wilderness and spoke to them. He gave them His Letter of Love and condition of living that He would keep concerning them and what He expected from them.
The awesome thing about His provision for them went so much deeper as He spoke to them not only in the present tense but also in the future, “To those standing here today and to those not here today.”i They were to take His Salvation and in return He would take them to another level or state of being; to the generations of this nation of people that He had set apart to Himself, a ‘status change’. Wow, Yahweh saved these people from slavery and caused them to be a rich and prosperous people even to this day. Salvation as if relates to this situation also reminds me of a people that were enslaved in the United States during the 1600’s though the late 1800’s, who received freedom from the atrocities of being under that same hard task master. No wages, poor living conditions, no benefit from reaping a harvest and most importantly very little hope of retribution or deliverance, people all across the world for that matter have dealt with this kind of treatment and some continue to see only bloodshed and famine. Only the Hand of the Great Deliverer can bring these situations to a halt and only He can cause those trodden down by the hardness of man’s heart and manipulative desires of greed and power to tread on the heights of the mountains and live in His provision. You see we are bound and are without hope and no expectation when we are in bondage of sin. Sin is anything that brings death and separation from Yahweh; which is lawlessness and does not agree with His Word. Everyone knows in their heart whether they do good or evil; Yahweh put that mechanism in us from the beginning that is why Adam and Hav’vah (Eve) hide themselves after they took part in the fruit of the tree in the Garden of Eden.
Salvation is twofold; natural and spiritual in its respect to changing ones status of living. If we except Yahshuah as being our Deliverer, Redeemer and Messiah then we are making a natural status change from living a life excluded from the citizenship of Israel, strangers from the covenants of promise, having no expectation and without God Yahweh in the world as stated in Ephesians 2:12; to living a life that is filled with benefiting from the good works of our hands, Grace to be forgiven of all our past sins, receiving the Covenant promises of Abraham and to rest in the peace that whatever we need Yahweh will provide not leaving us unguarded, but protecting us from all evils that plagued us before giving our life to Yahshuah. In the Spiritual realm we break those chains that cause us to ‘hit or miss’, to ‘sometimes’ prosper, those generational curses that were laid on us by others up our family lineage.ii Most of all in the eternal life after this time on earth we will live with Him forever in a resting place where all the Righteous dwell.iii
For the reasons above we need Yahweh’s Salvation so we can live a life full of expectation, hope and fulfilled desires and dreams; anything outside of that brothers and sisters is death. I challenge you to seek Yahshuah and turn to the abundant life that He speaks of in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to slaughter, and to destroy. I have come that they might possess life, and that they might possess it beyond measure.” You can have life beyond measure just give your life over to the Messiah. He will raise you up to ‘no lack’ He is the only one that can do that, because He is the Mighty Deliverer ready to calm all your fears, dry your tears and help you to know that there is nothing that you cannot do. You become victorious and efficient to walk like Him and that light goes out and draws others who feel worthless and lifeless. In a nutshell Salvation is Yahshuah and Yahshuah is Life.
John 6:40 “And this is the desire of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him should possess everlasting life. And I shall raise him up in the last day.”
